This week sees the release of the 4th in the United & Anarchic series from Elite Force’s ace label U&A Recordings. Each EP’s featured a handful of exclusives and remixes from label artists and friends, and on Volume Four they move into tougher waters with the more breakbeat-orientated side of their sound with four killer tracks & remixes, starting with a brilliantly executed & truly classy rework of Elite Force’s ‘No Turning Back’ (original from 2003) by tech-breaks genius, chart-topper and Breakspoll winner Hedflux.
Recent signing and all-round genre-bender Peo de Pitte is next up with his trademark beats on exclusive new track ‘Grey Tape’, which wraps a host of clanking drums around some speaker-punishing bass – what Peo does *so* well and why we love him *so* much is that his sound is almost indefinable when it comes to traditional genres, which matters not, it’s just damned good music.
Intro the fray next steps Lot49 head honcho and one of tech-funk’s most enduring and talented producers, Dylan Rhymes, who takes The Loops of Fury’s anthem, ‘Soap’ and blasts in into savage breakbeat orbit with a slamming remix that recollects some of his finest moments … and then last but by no means least, back comes Ukraine’s Felix Luker, who returns to lift Rektchordz’s ‘Speaker Bump’ into the stratosphere with a pulsing, anthemic, slamming electro house throbathon!
